Kanosis is an organizational behavior diagnostics and research company focused on understanding how organizations operate and what shapes performance. We study how behavioral patterns influence execution and apply those insights to help organizations increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.
We believe in the potential of people and organizations, and we have found behavior is what transforms that potential into outcomes. Through applied research and real-world experience, we have identified behavior to be the single greatest driver of organizational performance and the strongest predictor of future success. It is also the hardest dimension to address, which is why companies often turn to tools and technology for solutions, even though those solutions rarely improve performance on their own.
We created Kanosis because behavior can be understood, influenced, and elevated when supported by the right system. We continue to explore and refine this work through ongoing research which is directly applied to our diagnostics. When organizations align their structures and decisions to create behaviors proven to improve performance, they achieve better outcomes.
Performance is a reflection of behavioral patterns, and we challenge leaders to elevate performance by building the systems and conditions that shape behavior.

Nathan Shattuck- Founder & CEO
Nathan is the person organizations bring in to get things moving. He is a practitioner skilled in assessing, planning, and executing change to hit outcomes.
He has led change initiatives across strategy, operations, and commercial environments, including maturity assessments, re-organizations, and execution system design. Nathan created Kanosis to help people and organizations realize their potential and to continue his research into the conditions and behaviors that drive performance. He applies this experience through organizational diagnostics and applied behavioral research to help leaders improve execution and results.
Nathan brings experience supporting Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations across global retail, insurance, energy, and healthcare manufacturing, with additional international work in the UK and the Netherlands.
He believes people and organizations have deeper capabilities than they realize and partners with leaders to help bring that potential to life.
